Privacy policy

Summary
- No accounts. You play with a nickname. We don’t ask for your name, email, phone number or birthday to play.
- Location only during a live game. The app and the web client collect location only between the start and end of a game you’ve joined.
- Shared only with players in that game, and only as the game rules allow (for example, opponents see a fuzzy circle, not your exact position).
- Raw location is deleted from our servers within 24 hours after a game ends.
- No advertising or analytics company receives your location. Ever.
- No selling of personal data.
What we collect

We may keep anonymized, aggregated statistics (for example, “the average game lasts 23 minutes”) that can’t identify you or where you played.
What we don’t do
- We don’t track you outside a game.
- We don’t build profiles or sell data.
- We don’t let advertisers or analytics SDKs access location.
- We don’t publish anything about you without you choosing to share it.
Children
Manhunt IRL is intended for self-serve use by people aged 13 and older. Younger players should only play in a game run by a parent, teacher or leader acting as referee. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what’s needed to run a game they’re in. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it. (Legal review required.)
Your choices and rights
You can leave a game at any time, which stops location sharing immediately. You can delete the app or clear your browser’s site data to remove your device ID. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Email privacy@manhuntgame.com.
Website
This website does not use advertising cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views. The browser game stores a device ID in your browser’s local storage so it can reconnect you to a game.
